Seller & 3D Designer Guidelines
Maker Raise is dedicated to high-quality, print-ready 3D models and digital fabrication designs. We hold our sellers to rigorous standards so that every download succeeds on the print bed.
Mandatory Real Print Photo
Every digital 3D model listing must feature at least one real photograph of the physical 3D print. CAD renders alone are rejected. Backers need proof that the geometry slices and prints cleanly without failures.
Manifold & Clean Geometries
Meshes must be watertight (manifold) with no inverted normals, overlapping non-manifold vertices, or disconnected shells. Standard scale must be explicitly stated (e.g. 1:1 real-world millimeters).
Standard Packaging (.ZIP / .3MF)
Uploads should include individual `.stl` parts, editable `.step` CAD files where applicable, and pre-sliced `.3mf` projects (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, or OrcaSlicer) with recommended infill and support angles.
Intellectual Property Ownership
You must be the original designer or hold verified commercial redistribution rights. Ripping models from Thingiverse, Printables, or MakerWorld without appropriate open-source licenses will result in immediate storefront termination.
Pricing, Royalties & Payouts
Makers can publish free models to build their reputation or sell premium printable designs in BDT:
Creators retain 85% of every digital sale. Platform fee covers high-speed CDN distribution and processing.
Earnings are credited to your Creator Wallet immediately following payment confirmation.
Withdraw directly to your personal bKash, Nagad, or commercial bank account with no foreign forex fees.
Listing Description Template
Every listing should specify:
- Recommended Filament: (PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, Resin)
- Layer Height & Nozzle: (e.g. 0.20mm standard, 0.4mm nozzle)
- Support Settings: (Tree supports on build plate only, or 100% support-free)
- Hardware Required: (e.g. 4x M3x12mm screws, 608ZZ bearings, brass heat-set inserts)
