1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using Maker Raise (accessible at makerraise.com), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue platform use immediately.

2. 3D Model & Digital File Licensing

Purchasing a digital model with a standard personal license gives you the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to download and 3D print the file for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or publicly upload the digital mesh files (STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP, CAD). Commercial licenses permit the sale of physical 3D prints strictly within the terms defined by the respective creator.

3. Strictly Prohibited Products & Safety Standards

In strict accordance with international legal statutes and payment gateway regulations (including Stripe, PayPal, and credit card networks), Maker Raise strictly prohibits the design, upload, crowdfunding, or sale of:

• Firearms, firearm receivers, ammunition components, silencers, or 3D printable weapons.
• Explosives, hazardous materials, or illegal surveillance equipment.
• Counterfeit trademark items or unauthorized proprietary intellectual property.

Any violation results in immediate account termination, escrow forfeiture, and notification to relevant regulatory authorities.

4. Crowdfunding Rules & Escrow Protection

All-or-Nothing crowdfunding campaigns collect pledges held securely in escrow. If a campaign fails to reach 100% of its target funding goal before the published deadline, all backer payments are refunded automatically. Creators must fulfill rewards in accordance with their campaign delivery schedule and provide regular backer updates.

5. Payments, Currencies & PCI-DSS Compliance

All online payments on Maker Raise are processed via certified, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways (including Stripe, PayPal, SSLCommerz, and UddoktaPay).

Maker Raise never stores your complete credit/debit card numbers, CVV security codes, or banking PINs. All financial communications utilize bank-grade SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption. Prices are displayed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT ৳) and United States Dollars (USD $) with all applicable platform fees and taxes disclosed prior to payment authorization.

6. Refunds, Returns & Disputes

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our dedicated Refund & Cancellation Policy. Buyers and backers agree to contact our resolution desk at contact@makerraise.com before initiating chargebacks with financial institutions.
